(“Advaxis,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we recognize the importance of protecting your privacy.  This Privacy Statement describes our practices regarding information that we collect through (the “Site”).  By accessing or otherwise using the Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Statement.

This Privacy Statement only applies to the Site and does not apply to information collected or received by other means. This Privacy Statement does not apply to services, websites or mobile apps offered by third parties, even if this Site links to them, or to any other websites that we operate.

Updates to this Privacy Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to provide clarification or notice of changes to our practices. All such changes will be effective upon posting the revised Privacy Statement on the Site and we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Statement. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance to such changes. We encourage you to check back from time to time to ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of the Privacy Statement.

What Information does Advaxis Collect?

Advaxis collects information in two ways: (1) directly from you; and (2) automatically as a result of your use of the Site.

Information Collected Directly from You. We may collect and retain any information directly provided by you in connection with your use of the Site. For example, we collect information you give us when you:

  • Communicate with us, such as to provide feedback, ask for additional information, or make a request;

We may collect information such as your first and last name, home or other physical address, email address, telephone number, and other information that permits you to be contacted physically or online, and any other information that you provide to us. You may choose not to provide certain information to us, but doing so may restrict your ability to use the Site.

Information Collected Automatically. When you visit or use the Site, we may collect certain information through the use of automated means. We may collect information such as:

In addition, we may collect information about your activities on the Site through the use of cookies, clear GIFs or web beacons, local shared objects or Flash cookies, or through other identifiers or technologies, including similar technologies, as they may evolve over time. We refer to these technologies collectively as “Data Technologies.”

We may allow third parties, including Google, to use Data Technologies on the Site. The information collected by Data Technologies may be shared with and used by us, by others acting on our behalf, or by third parties subject to their own privacy policies. Information collected by Data Technologies may be used on this or on other websites or services, including those that may not be operated by us.

Email. We may collect information regarding the effectiveness of our email and other communications with you. For example, we may know if you follow a link in an email we send to you.

How does Advaxis Use the Information it Collects?

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the Site to you and others;
  • Operate our business, including administering, maintaining and improving the Site;
  • Improve or customize the Site or our services;
  • Perform research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, and for marketing, financial, operational or other purposes;
  • Display content and advertising that are customized to your interests and preferences;
  • Comply with applicable laws and to enforce our policies and terms of service;
  • Prevent fraud, theft, or injury to you, us, or others;
  • Perform data analyses or create aggregated data sets combining information about you with that of other visitors to the Site; and

With Whom Do We Share Information That We Collect?

We may share the information we collect (i) as you express authorize us to; (ii) as permitted by law; and with third parties, including:

Service Providers. We may share information with third party service providers and others who help us operate our business and the Site or provide services on our behalf. These service providers include those who may help us handle your account or respond to customer requests and analytics companies, advertising networks and others, such as those that provide Data Technologies on the Site.

Corporate Affiliates and Partners. We may share information with our corporate affiliates for their business purposes, to provide services or to perform marketing. We may also partner with other entities as part of our business, and we may share information as part of such ventures.

Business Transfer. We may share information we have gathered about you in connection with the sale or merger of our business or the transfer of assets.

  • protect or defend our interests and the legal rights or property of Advaxis and our affiliates;
  • protect the rights, interests, safety and security of users of the Site or members of the public;
  • protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or
  • comply with prudent legal practice as we may determine, and applicable law or legal process.


We may also make aggregated information available to third parties for their own purposes.

Your Choices

You may limit and control the information provided to us in a number of ways; however, you may not be able to use all features of the Site if you limit the information you share with us.

If you have registered for an account, you may correct, update or delete the information contained in your online account by logging on to your account and editing that information.

Your browser and your device may provide you the option to limit the use of cookies or other Data Technologies. You should refer to your web browser’s or mobile device’s options or settings menu for more information about adjusting your settings. Disabling or rejecting cookies may disable some of the features and functionality of the Site.

Information Security

We take measures designed to secure and protect information transmitted via or stored on the Site.  Despite these measures, we cannot guarantee the security of networks, servers and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf or that the information you transmit to Advaxis over the Internet will not be intercepted, deleted or altered.

Please assist us in protecting your information.  If a password is used to help protect your account and information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential.  Do not share this information with anyone.


The Site may contain links to websites or web pages not operated by Advaxis, including various social media websites. Once you leave the Site, we suggest that you review the applicable privacy policy of the third party website regarding, among other things, how they will handle any information they collect from or about you. We are not responsible for the content of third party websites, your use of those websites, or the privacy practices of those websites.


The Site is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). No information should be submitted to or posted to the Site by visitors younger than thirteen (13) years old.

California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 entitles California users to request information concerning whether a business has disclosed certain information about you to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. California users who wish to request further information in compliance with this law or have questions or concerns about our privacy practices and policies may contact us as specified in the “Contact” section below.

California and Delaware law require Advaxis to indicate whether it honors “Do Not Track” settings in your browser concerning targeted advertising. At this time, there is no uniform industry standard or definition for responding to, processing, or communicating Do Not Track signals.
